Description
Chamois 1 is part of the redevelopment of a traditional Chamonix building and the only duplex apartment. Spacious rooms decorated in a retro style and with quality furnishings create a tranquil interior. Situated in a charming residential area, the apartment is only five minute walk from the main high street so there is easy access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The flexibility of this apartment is great for groups of friends and families alike.

The apartment sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms and on a sofa bed in the TV area. There is a maximum of 6 separate beds available, configured as follows:

Bedroom 2 : Flexible, two single beds or double bed (lower ground floor) with access to shared bathroom and separate WC

OUR OPINION
The space that Chamois 1 offers for 6 people is considerably more than most rental apartments. The fantastic addition of a separate TV room provides extra living space ideal for the kids or for those who want to watch a film without disturbing the conversation. Guests love the location of this apartment - easy walking distance of the town centre, the Aiguille du Mid and just 50 metres from the Mulet bus stop with connecting services to all the lift stations. The other main draw is the sunny terrace with mountain views perfect for enjoying your meals alfresco.
For larger groups we have another three apartments in the Chamois building accommodating a maximum of 19 people. These are Chamois 2, Chamois 3 and Chamois 4.

NB*: Due to flooding in the basement of White Pearl, the building's lift (elevator) is out of order and the underground parking is inaccessible until further notice. To reflect this ongoing issue, prices have been discounted by 10% up until 30th April 2025. White Pearl A36 has been interior-designed with comfort and style in mind. Spread over 2 floors and with a large balcony, this apartment offers comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people. Being on the 3rd floor, the balcony is double height and has panoramic mountain views including le Brevent on the opposite side of Chamonix. The building itself is located 200m from the main bus station which gives access to the ski areas. Shops, bars and restaurants are also within a few minutes' walk. KEY FEATURES - Covered balcony with outdoor dining furniture - Entertainment facilities including free WiFi and smart TV - Quality finishes and beautiful interior-design - Ski boot room with private locker and boot dryers - Private underground parking maximum height 2.2 metres* BEDROOMS The apartment sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. There is a maximum of 7 separate beds available, configured as follows: Bedroom 1 : Two single beds or double bed (lower floor) with ensuite shower and basin, and access to a WC Bedroom 2 : Double bed (upper floor) with ensuite shower and basin, and access to the shared WC Bedroom 3 : Two single beds or double bed (upper floor) with access to shared shower room with separate WC Bedroom 4 : Two single beds (upper floor) with access to shared shower room with separate WC OUR OPINION We have a number of apartments in the White Pearl building and the first big tick is location! Everything Chamonix has to offer is at walking distance meaning a car isn't necessary. Having said that, if you choose to drive, each apartment has 2 private underground spaces as well as a dedicated ski locker with heated boot dryers. The second reason we love White Pearl is the large balconies, bigger than most in Chamonix. The views over Chamonix from Apartment A36's balcony as well as down the valley to Les Houches and up the valley to le Tour make it a great spot to relax whether staying in Summer or Winter. If you have a large group, we have the following apartments within the building: 2 bedrooms A23, C12 3 bedrooms A11, A12 4 bedrooms A31, A32, A34

Please note: There were incidents of flooding in the underground parking of the White Pearl building during 2024. This meant that, at times, the parking was inaccessible and the elevator out of use. Whilst these facilities are currently in working order, permanent solutions to this issue are not yet in place meaning further incidents are possible. To reflect this, prices have been discounted by 10% up until 30th April 2025. There is some parking to the side of the building and public car parks (paying) 2-5 minutes' walk from the property. (19th August 2024). White Pearl A12 offers spacious and luxurious accommodation. A local designer has created a beautiful interior making this apartment a really comfortable place to relax. In addition to the large balcony off the living area, the first of the 3 bedrooms has a private balcony. The building itself has a great location a short walk from Chamonix centre. Having said that, if you choose to drive, each apartment has 2 private underground spaces as well as a dedicated ski locker with heated boot dryers. A12's position at the rear corner of the building means the aspect is peaceful and it's the only apartment with 2 balconies. The bunk in Bedroom 2 gives flexibility to sleeping arrangements/different group make-ups. Apartment A11, also with 3 bedrooms, is just across the hallway making the pair a great option for 2 families or a larger group.
